BioMass Sugar ® product label
Turf
Rate / HaRemarks
Apply 80 L/ha or 8ml/m2 of Biomass Sugar ® at the start of the turf growing season.Biomass Sugar ® should only be applied to plants that are actively growing and that have been established for at least 3 to 4 weeks after transplant.

The field must be at a good soil moisture level, ideally at 60-70% field capacity to support good distribution of the Biomass Sugar ®.

Biomass Sugar ® must be well watered into the root profile, this typically requires in the order of 8 to 10 mm of irrigation water per hectare.  This is equivalent to 8 to 10L of water per square meter (80 000 - 100 000 L/Ha).
Thereafter apply 40L/ha or 4ml/m2 of Biomass Sugar ® on a maintenance basis every 3 to 4 weeks.
Flowers
Rate / HaRemarks
Apply 40L/ha of Biomass Sugar ® for soil grown cut flowers every 2 to 3 weeks. Biomass Sugar ® should only be applied to plants that are actively growing and that have been established for at least 3 to 4 weeks after transplant.

The field must be at a good soil moisture level, ideally at 60-70% field capacity to support good distribution of the Biomass Sugar ®.

Biomass Sugar ® must be well watered into the root profile, this typically requires in the order of 8 to 10 mm (80 000 – 100 000 L/ha) of irrigation water per hectare.  This is equivalent to 8 to 10L of water per square meter.
Biomass Sugar ® should be applied 3 to 4 weeks after transplant and then every 2 to 3 weeks there after.
Vegtables
Rate / HaRemarks
Apply 20L/ha to 40L/ha (broadcast) or 2ml/m2 to 4ml/m2 per growing area that is treated. Row applications should be applied at 200ml to 400ml per 100m row application.

Biomass Sugar ® should be applied 3 to 4 weeks after transplant and then every 2 to 3 weeks there after.

Use the lower rate when plants are stressed and  susceptible to phytotoxicity

Sensitive Crops
Rate / HaRemarks
Due to the susceptibility and sensitivity of certain crops Biomass Sugar ® should only be applied at the lower application rate of 20L/ha (broadcast) or 2ml/m2 or 200ml/100m row to the following crops:
  • Cucumbers
  • Melons
  • Sensitive ornamentals/flowers
Note that due to their sensitivity Biomass Sugar ® should never be used on ferns.
Biomass Sugar ® should only be applied to plants that are actively growing and that have been established for at least 3 to 4 weeks after transplant.

Application
Dilute 1 Liter of Biomass Sugar ® in 10 Liters of water during hand spray applications, follow with 8 to 10 mm of irrigation water per hectare.

In situations where the product is applied through an irrigation system dilute the Biomass Sugar ® in a 1 to 1 ratio with water and then induct this through the irrigation system at an even rate to allow for good coverage of the root zone.  Total irrigation water should be in the order of 8 to 10 mm of water.
